Violence begets violence. Before you embark on a journey of revenge, dig two graves. When neither side can walk away, everyone pays the price.
Two families clash in an eternal feud. Play as both as they hunt each other to get revenge for what was done to them... only for their heir's to do the same to you.
HEIRLOOP is a short, top-down action game made for the GMTK 2025 Game Jam. Cut through a dungeon and control two different factions with different weapons and abilities as you satisfy the cycle of violence.

I love how the art style shifts from hand drawn to pixel art throughout menus and gameplay! It really feels like a refreshing change of pace when it happens. I love the weapons, the action, and the lore! 10/10 game ESPECIALLY for a jam game! I don't understand why this isn't getting comments. I'm kind of in the same boat right now, so I'd really appreciate it if you check out my game in return, especially if you're a fan of psychological horror.
